Kristine Wilder seem to not be very helpful in the process always coming up with last minute task for me and pressuring to be done fast even though I did what was asked in timely matter. Due to her poor planning and time management I had to bend over backwards for her on more than one occasion and she wouldn't do anything to help me when I needed it. 1 out 10
First I want to start out by saying thank you Veterans United! You guys were great the whole way through! I had a bit of a different situation going on because I just transferred to my location and was getting ready to be shipped out on deployment for however long. You understood and worked with me. I had x amount of time to find a house. I told my realtor, Ed Pennington, what I was looking for and bam! He showed me a place that was exactly what I wanted. I know things at the start were a bit intense considering this was my first time buying a house with all of the calls and all of the messages and not knowing what to expect, but I’m sure glad I stuck with Veterans United after I got back from deployment. Veterans United was great all around. Thank you! If you’re looking for a loan to buy a home check out Veterans United! You won’t be disappointed!
Thank you Veterans United, there's no stopping you to fulfill someone's dream, especially as a first time buyer.
The words No and Can't doesn't exit in your professionalism to make the seem impossible happen, right in front of our eyes. I would recommend your service of excellence to anyone requiring it. Thank you very much, I'm blown away by your team, Alex, Megan, Jasin, Matt, Bart, my apologies if I left anyone out. Dream team for certain.
This was my first home buying process. Veterans United and the team that assisted me held my hand and answered even my simplest of questions and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process. The open communication throughout everything allowed me to see every step of the process. I would highly recommend them.
Veterans United from start to finish was the smoothest process one could hope for in this homebuying market. I would recommend anybody who wants the best service and the lowest amount of stress to try veterans United

Very quick very easy process. The staff makes everything extremely user-friendly, especially with a busy schedule. Our family has answered all of our questions and if they did not know, at that moment, they found the answers we needed in a timely manner as well!
Great experience, we purchased the house at the height of the market and Craig was able to get us a refi and save almost 300 a month.
I’ll be honest, working with VU was really difficult. Jaimie was great, gave me a lot of options up front and helped facilitate a lot. She feels like a friend. But once I had to start dealing with the rest of the team, it was rough. Whoever the underwriters are, they are just awful. I cried every day in those first 3 weeks because of how uncertain I always felt about the loan going through. I was anxious waking up every day just waiting to hear what else was going to be wrong. I just closed on the house this week and I was actually super embarrassed when the Title lady at the title company said how terrible it was to work with Jackson (the closing agent at VU) because of how rude he was. I had to apologize for the lender I chose and the way she was treated. So embarrassing. Anyways, I could go into more detail but I will just end it by saying I’m so glad it’s finally over.
Response from Veterans United
Hi Jessica,
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience, and I’m genuinely sorry to hear how difficult the process was for you. Homebuying is already stressful, and I understand how much more challenging it can be when the process doesn't go smoothly.
I'm glad to hear that Jaimie was able to provide great support and options upfront—she's definitely someone who cares deeply about her clients, and I’m happy she made you feel like you had a friend on your side. That’s exactly the kind of experience we aim to provide.
But it’s clear that we missed the mark with the rest of your journey, and I’m truly sorry for the anxiety and frustration you went through. The uncertainty you felt, especially during those first few weeks, shouldn’t have been part of your experience. I’m also concerned to hear about your interaction with our closing agent, Jackson, as well as the feedback you received from the Title company. That’s not how we want our clients or partners to feel when working with us, and I’ll be looking into what happened to address these concerns internally.
I know it’s a relief to finally have the process behind you, but I want to make sure that no one else goes through what you did. We’d really appreciate the chance to talk with you more about your experience. Please feel free to reach out to me at 1-800-212-5200 or ClientAdvocate@vu.com.
Thank you again for your feedback, and congratulations on your new home. I hope it brings you nothing but happiness.
