The only reason I am giving an overall 8/10 instead of 10/10 is because our loan coordinator Bryce Edmundson was incompetent. 2/10. I constantly had to contact Mike to correct Bryce’s mistakes and towards the end, disregarded Bryce in general because I felt he would mess something up. We constantly received last minute updates on our closing, which made things very stressful. He would constantly ask for forms and invoices under very short deadlines. He sent the wrong disclosure to our lawyers the day before the closing. I could go on and on. My team was fantastic, with a major exception in the form of Bryce. Had he never contacted me during this process, I feel my team of Rebecca joedi and Mike would have been more than capable.

The entire online VA loan process was very streamlined, user friendly, and stress free.
Lynn Heath, our loan coordinator, was also absolutely fabulous. She really made what we were expecting to be an incredible stressful process so smooth. Handling all the fiddly paperwork was the thing we were warned would be the most complicated. With her, it was not. She was also just an absolute gem of a person, and we enjoyed speaking with her.The portal made it so easy to E-sign and upload important documents. By the time we closed, we were at the attorney's office for 20 min and then we had keys in hand!Buying a home for the first time was so nerve-wracking. Every single person we interacted with was so kind and genuine. We really felt supported through the whole process. I cannot recommend Trey, Lynn, and Blair enough.
The team we had, Ryan, Sarah and Chris were great. They weren't stiff, boring and all about doing what little they could to get easy money. They always kept us informed and never guessing. Any questions we had they answered quickly and we never had to wait-which is good when your making an emotional decision buying a home. They helped us after their work hours and Sarah even helped with an issue outside her scope of responsibility! They were always professional but laid back. Helping us definitely felt like it mattered to them and not just a job. They joked with us and made the relationship feel more than just a business transaction. They were the best part of our home buying process 100%.

This experience was scary, stressful, nerve wrecking, and at the end rewarding. There were several moments I thought to myself "apartment living isn't so bad". I am glad I made the decision to finally become a homeowner.
