nice
I would definitely recommend Veterans United Home Loans to assist in any home buying experience. Don't let me forget Jill Birch (Loan Coordinator Team Lead) - she was all over it as well. A 10 for her as well!
I thought the whole process of buying our first house would be worse than doing taxes but it was quite the opposite with the team I was given. Thank you to Ryan and Dalton for being patient, supportive and informative throughout. Our journey in finding a home and working with Veterans United went really smooth and fast and we're excited to now be homeowners!
This has been an incredible experience. My home buying process was made so easy by Ashley and her team. I'm very thankful to you guys and your hard work.
Very happy that I decided to try to buy A house and had such a wonderful team of people to work with, they even helped me when I was freaking out
Overall, a very good experience. Communication at some points was a little lacking.
From start to finish, I was extremely impressed with this team. This is our 4th time to purchase a home. It was, by far the best experience we have had to date.
Nick was absolutely phenomenal!!!! I have never even met him in person, and he advocated far more for me than most of my actual friends would have. Nick was incredible about just automatically doing all the legwork to help make my dream a reality, even when my State VA Department made both of our lives incredibly more difficult than they needed to have been and exacerbated my already grueling loan process tenfold. When I had long stints throughout the day where I was unavailable by e-mail while teaching, Nick always covered for me. Nick was always in my corner 100% of the time. Saying Nick went above and beyond to exceed my expectations would be an understatement. Nick literally changed my life. It may not have been him single-handedly, but I could not have done it without him. Is it weird to love someone you have never even met? Perhaps, but I love him anyway. I am forever grateful for Nick and his talent for hoop jumping, refuting unsound arguments, and going to bat for someone he does not even know. I cannot say enough. I literally do not have the words. I will definitely trust Nick with any loan I ever have in the future. I hope it is a new Purchase, but IRRRLs are acceptable too. I would even trust Nick in a life or death situation. This dude had my back more than any Loan Officer I have ever or could have ever known. Hands down, Nick is an outstanding Loan Officer, but he is an even better human. He was exactly the person I needed to get my almost-impossible loan Closed, and he got it ✨Closed✨! I highly, highly recommend Nick Schuster, and Veterans United, for your home buying needs. 11/10 Stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (The commercial people should contact me too.)

Experience first-hand why 325,027 homeowners give us a perfect score!
Aaron, Jessica and the rest of the team at Veterans United were always professional, courteous and responsive throughout the home buying process. They continuously provided updates when a new document was available to sign or review and would often encourage questions. The team gave thorough explanations of each step in the process and played a major factor in closing on time. My wife and I couldn't be happier as first time homebuyers.
Outstanding work all around. Will refer Veterans United to all my prior service friends that are looking for a home.
Great job everyone at Veterans United!
FIND ANOTHER COMPANY …. Quickly, run away from Veterans United. For a company that literally specialized in military families … they are ill equipped to actually handle the very common situations we are in because of the military and buying a house during those times. They treated my husband being deployed like some weird situation that never happens, and put it on me whenever they made mistakes… and then when they did actually apologize for something… that’s it. Nothing else. Now it’s my problem to deal with , or as the head of the team suggested just a few days before closing “I could walk away from this house” . 😡😡 I had SO many problems during the whole process , it made e the buying process horrific, down to even after closing I am still dealing with their lack of attention to details and mistakes . And they collect your money and move on , while you are left paying more than you were told and picking up the pieces. As if we military families need any more of this in our lives. When I choose to work with a company that is supposed to know the ins and outs of both the home buying process AND being in the military, I expect to feel supported and understood. They didn’t get it, and didn’t care when they messed up. I was bounced from so many people on a “team” , I didn’t even know I was working with a team until I had barely heard from the original person I was told would be my loan officer, and instead was dealing with someone who had no idea what she was doing. The LO finally stepped in when I asked for someone else because of all the issues I was having. And then she tried to put it on me , saying I “even said myself” that we were in a unique position. The unique position being one that thousands of families are in at this very moment. It was just WILD.
About a month after closing, I’ve now received an email with yet another mistake they made , that I will have to pay for , and they will not be held accountable at all.
Really truly mind blowing how awful this was all around, and I cannot believe so many people rave about this company . Maybe I just got a bad team or whatever, but I’m still trying to recover.
Just goes to show they have no respect for you no matter who you are, as long as they can take your money.
Never had any follow up from anyone above this team about our awful experience either.
