We will hole heartedly recommend VU to anyone we know looking that may qualify for a VA loan. Chris, Jens, and Cede were amazing!
I am grateful to the entire team for making this home buying experience as good as it can be, thank you all again!
Great job to everyone! Alissa was great!
For a veteran like me with major anxiety, I was so thankful for such a great team!! They made everything so much better then I thought it was going to be. If you are a veteran and not using Veteran’s United, you are seriously working too hard to buy a home!
Veterans United blessed us with a new home by walking us through every aspect if the home loan process! Our team was amazing!
All was GREAT!!
Veterans United an outstanding job and went above and beyond and I really appreciate there dedicated and hard work THANK YOU ALL!!!!!!
The best service a vet can get.
Everyone who helped us sell this home and buy our next was outstanding. Lloyd and Chelsea were wonderful and a pleasure to have as agents and Jake was amazing with his knowledge and service.
Underwriting seemed a little harsh and mundane wanting me to pay a small balance on an account l just opened before contract submittal. It was already scheduled for an ACH payment which caused it to be paid twice. Had to take extra steps to get the overpayment back.
Stay calm even when I was not. Assured me He was doing everything in my best interest. Great job.
Loan process was going along just fine then everything went sideways, asking for additional non-related stuff to verify stuff they already had official documentation for, example with work history already verified through w2s and expirian we were required to send college transcripts to "verify work history" seriously. Towards the end we were unable to make solid plans with cleaners, movers, contractors because our cleared to close came 1 day prior to scheduled closing. Horrible, stressful experience that ruined the buying process for us. We were so close to changing lenders to another we were approved with already that we were in the process of sending all of the documentation to the new lender when the clear to close came through. A bunch of miscommunication along with a lack of communication, too many people involved so stories kept changing, and on top of that nearly every response from those we were working with came only minutes before the close of business so we couldn't get clarification until they came back to work instead of getting it and working on it outside of business hours. Probably wont use VU again due to all the issues.
Response from Veterans United
Hi Andrew,
It is important to us that we work hard to provide excellent service, and we realize that the home buying process can become stressful when working to gather the required documentation. Licensed Underwriters comply with regulations to ensure loans are properly documented, and we work to make that process as easy as possible. Discussing the details around your final closing figures is part of our commitment to deliver outstanding service. It is our goal to be there for you every step of the way to explain and demonstrate all changes. Providing clear and effective communication is a top priority, and a member of our Client Advocate team has reached out and remains available to discuss your experience in greater detail. We are dedicated to making clear requests and assisting customers in providing documentation that is necessary for loan approval. We appreciate your calling attention to this aspect and will always be available if you wish to discuss in greater detail.
