This is the 3rd time I've used used Veteran's United for a VA home loan. This time, was on a new construction house, which has extra steps and complications. I used the Columbia, MO office for the first 2 and it went great with Tom Champion. I attempted to use him again but was routed to another team led by Charlie Holston. The process did not go as smooth with them and I felt like I was put on the back burner at times. I switched to Nick's team in Bellevue, NE to take advantage of a local housing credit and the process went much smoother from there and we were finally able to close after 6 months!
Bob’s team done a great job in patiently helping us throughout the process. They really went above and beyond. Bob’s team is awesome!!

I greatly appreciated when I would express a concern, the VU team would have the same concern and look into the matter. The home buying experience is always going to be daunting, however when questionable situations arise outside the buyers handle, the buyer addresses it and the VU team sees the same concern, shows trustworthiness and engages to obtain an answer or workability. It is very helpful that a veterans service organization knows how the VA responds when it comes to the VA home loan. I do not like the bureaucracy of corporate America, but I admire Rob, Austin, Chas and the people who where tasked with my home buying experience. Maintain honor it. Semper Fi. God bless.
