Veterans United helped me and my wife get our first condo, and the whole experience was great. They were always checking on me, had fast response times, and it genuinely felt like they wanted the best for us every step of the way. Brandon was very friendly and helpful—he searched through different home insurance options, gave moving company recommendations and price matches, and helped with internet, electric, etc. Stephanie at VU went above and beyond when I had some trouble with my credit scores—she was always checking in, processing documents quickly, and it really felt like she was rooting for us to make it to closing. Matt Landis was our go-to guy and always explained things when I didn’t understand or had questions. He’s very knowledgeable and really set the tone for all the great people there. Overall, what stood out most was the customer service—always friendly, always there, and very helpful.

Communication and professionalism was great until the end. Our closing was delayed for a couple days, but we were not informed until the night before. I did not personally speak to Madeline, but Jay sent the following text to my client: “ it sounds like your two biggest issues are utilities starting & help moving. They will be able to easily update the effective date for your utilities if you call them. I regards to the move itself you are staying with family currently correct? So you will not be homeless or have no where to stay for the 2 extra days between Tuesday & Thursday right?”
Especially considering the number of homeless vets in the world today, this was extremely disrespectful and disappointing. I will not be recommending this lender to any of my future clients.
Let me just start by saying how AMAZING Veterans United has been every step of the way. My loan specialist Travis Ward and his team went above and beyond and where more than I could ask for in my first home buying experience. As a first time buyer, you could imagine how many questions and concerns I had, and never did I feel Like i was alone in the process. Travis made me feel like I was an absolute priority and anytime I needed him he was readily available, he truly makes it a comfortable experience where you know you have a great team behind you. I can't express how smooth and painless the process was. I kept waiting for the day that things would become difficult but it never happened! It had been a lifelong dream to be a homeowner and thanks to Veterans Unites it became a reality. I highly recommend Veterans United and specifically Travis Ward and his team.

Nick is the absolute best. This is the second home purchase he has assisted us with and made the process easy for both. Although we have never met in person he has always treated us as a friend not a client. His efforts have allowed us to finally purchase our forever home and for that we are extremely grateful to him.
It was a challenge going thru the loan process with Veterans United. But, well worth the experience. The loan officers ( Kimberly and Amber) assigned to me made a complicated process seem like a walk in the park. LOL! There was tons of paperwork to docu-sign and a mountain of documents needed to prove who I was and inspections on my future home to assure the homes' safety and worth. In the end, I was approved for my dream home with an awesome 3.5% interest rate. Their assistance didn't end there. They made sure my dream home would not make me house-poor by keeping my debt-to-income ratio in line. I had to be debt-free (including credit cards) to make the numbers even out.
