I have nothing but the highest opinion of the entire team that helped me with this process from start to finish. They have been nothing but professional, informative, and timely in responses to questions I had.
I complied with everything they requested. Then things changed. Every thing had to be done over, in different average. The changes were always at the last minute putting my wife in a constant fear the loan wouldn’t go through. My wife is 79 years old. She did not need this stress.
Truthfully, just really long gaps between communication to and from the underwriter - to me it seems like there are too many cooks in the kitchen. Rachael was pleasant :)

Mason Fast made it so easy for me and explained everything so well it was simple to understand.
It was a challenge going thru the loan process with Veterans United. But, well worth the experience. The loan officers ( Kimberly and Amber) assigned to me made a complicated process seem like a walk in the park. LOL! There was tons of paperwork to docu-sign and a mountain of documents needed to prove who I was and inspections on my future home to assure the homes' safety and worth. In the end, I was approved for my dream home with an awesome 3.5% interest rate. Their assistance didn't end there. They made sure my dream home would not make me house-poor by keeping my debt-to-income ratio in line. I had to be debt-free (including credit cards) to make the numbers even out.
Our experience with Veterans United was outstanding from start to finish. The home loan team was knowledgeable, responsive, and incredibly supportive throughout the entire process.
