If you are a veteran purchasing a home and you are not going through VU, you may want to shop around a little more. The purchase process from start to finish was much smoother than expected, even with dealing with a catastrophic home fire in the middle of the process. Additionally, the entire loan team responded to and helped address our needs where even family fell deficient. The process for us was as painless as buying a home can be. I was able to submit all documents online. Everyone on my team was kind and wonderful to work with.
