Loved the guys in the Credit Department, Great group made fixing my credit from a mid 500s to over 620 to secure the loan, was able to walk me thru what to do and how to do it the best way, able to raise my credit where it needed to be. 70 points in 3 months great group to work with..(using some things they taught my Credit is still going up!) did it hurt financially for a bit around the house cleaning and fixing my bad credit mistakes up? YES! but hey the new house for me and my family is well worth the short period of Ramen! Thank you EVERYONE at VETERANS UNITED. We were hesitant on buying a house until early spring but the real estate agent gave some words of wisdom about the market. So my wife and I decided we would look at a couple houses to see what we liked and didn’t like. When we walking into the house we bought, we absolutely loved it. We threw the offer out there and it was accepted. I would like to thank Emily and her outstanding team, which made the home buying process very smooth and uncomplicated. During the process they led me every step of the way, let me know what I needed, and how to upload all the documents necessary on the Veterans united web site, which is also user friendly. She also helped me get the lowest possible rate she could give me, cause I was also working with another lender and veterans was better, also asked her about refinancing in the future at a lower rate when rates go down, she said she would also be looking at that and would inform me, really can't beat that. I was very happily surprised on how her team helped me with finding many options as far as home insurance companies, also helping me set up all the utilities with options and phone numbers of the companies in the area. I would also like to add she worked very well with my realtor who was very happy with their professionalism and work ethic. I would highly recommend Emily and her team and veteran's united, to any veteran wanting to purchase a home.

Nothing more to say, blew my mind how kind and nice they all were
We had a quick closing date. I believe it was 23 days and no other company wanted to help us because the VA process is “so complicated”. Neil and his team at VU said no problem and got to work. Super friendly and patient considering this was my first buying experience. If I ever buy another house I wouldn’t work with anyone else except them. They really care for the veteran and the are fast!
