I had multiple issues with paperwork with Veterans United. It seemed every time new paperwork was issued, I would find errors in it. It makes it hard to trust your numbers when I’m the finding errors.I will say, however, that Toby was usually very responsive even after hours.
Response from Veterans United
Thank you for sharing this feedback, Chris. I can understand how having to repeatedly catch errors in your paperwork would make it difficult to feel confident in the numbers you were receiving. I’m sorry for the frustration and added stress that caused during your homebuying experience.
I’m glad to hear Toby was responsive and available when you needed him. At the same time, I’d appreciate the opportunity to learn more about the paperwork concerns you experienced. Please reach out to the Client Advocate team at 1-800-212-5200 or ClientAdvocate@vu.com. My over all experience was challenging being this is my 1st home purchase, but Schandler made it seem seamless and we were in constant contact and answered all of my questions and added info i was not aware of. I appreciated the entire team getting to work on my home and contract and made me feel at ease. if i sell or buy another home i'll be sure to call again on his services
I have worked with Tyler and Bri many times and every time has been excellent service. The best customer service. Always responsive and help in anyway they can.
The entire team was very thorough with all the paperwork needed as well as very reachable to answer any questions I had along the way.
Everyone was over-the-top friendly, diplomatic, and professional. They went above and beyond to ensure that the loan went through and that ultimately I would be able to close on the home I wanted. I can not give enough thanks to everyone who had a part. And Adam was very understanding at a time when I thought about looking at NFCU for the loan. When it didn't work out with NFCU, Adam and the team welcomed me back with open arms, and that's what truly sold me. So I want to make sure that instances like these are well noted and shared. Thanks everyone! I'm only doing 9 because I'm a big believer that there is always room for improvement everywhere, so just look at it as being a very close to perfect 10.

Kollin and Hope made our home buying process as smooth as they possibly could. We had some... unexpected hiccups and they went truly above and beyond in getting us from pre-approved to finally closing. 10 out of 5 stars!!
Outstanding

VU ,lies and scams from start to finish.in cahoots with all involved in purshasing home. Make quick record oďf all documents, they will disappear. Get you own inspector and apraiser . I was made to pay for repair on the home i evn red the closer document. There no such thing as little to no closing cost. It drwill cost you thousand. Its a scam and fraud and they will lie cheat and give you a run around list.

Hi Leonard,
I’m sorry to hear you walked away from your homebuying experience feeling this way. Buying a home is a major financial decision, and I understand how upsetting it can be when you have concerns about costs, repairs, documents, or the information you received along the way.
I also want to clarify that a VA appraisal is intended to assess the property’s value and certain minimum property requirements based on what is observable. It isn’t a substitute for a comprehensive home inspection, which is why an independent home inspection is recommended.
I take your concerns seriously and would appreciate the opportunity to better understand what happened with your loan. Please contact the Client Advocate team at 1-800-212-5200 or ClientAdvocate@vu.com.
