Although buying a house for the first time was really exhausting and stressful, my entire VU team and realtor made the process better Han I could ever have imagined. They were very responsive to any concerns or questions I had and provided me with outstanding service.
Good experience, but not great. Underwriting wasn’t as responsive as my MLO. They also chose to fund the Monday following closing on Friday that threw a wrench in the process. Previous owner was expecting his money Friday, I was trying to move out of my place I had to be out of by Sunday and the owners didn’t want us moving until they were paid. I think we could have closed earlier. I think some of documents were excessive I had a local MLO look at my documents and they could have gotten me approved without the other things. Out of respect for Aaron’s hard work I decided to stick it out. I’m on the fence about having my fellow veterans use it if the process is the same for them. I think a local office would be easier to go through.

The real estate agent veterans united hooked me up with was top notch I couldn't have asked for someone better than Frank. He wasn't pushy about trying to take me to my limit of borrowing, he was able to set up about 14 homes for me to look at in a 2 day window, and he explained things in a very simple manner.
Donald was really good for a mortgage officer, nothing bad to say about him. His team I wish they would've been more knowledgeable though. They'd reach out all the time see how I was doing but I had a question a few times and they didn't know the answer and said they'd reach back out, but didn't. I had to call Donald personally and get the answers.Overall, very happy with Veterans United and their service.

This was an awesome experience working with a wonderful team like this. Anytime information was needed the team was there to help.
It was a long process as closing was further out date wise. But everyone was attentive and kept us in the loop every step of the way. Never once not keeping everything on track. I would highly recommend them.

Have you ever bought a home before and I was seriously stressed out in the beginning I actually stopped looking for a while big investors kept buying the houses that I wanted I shut myself down for a couple of months and Jen my realtor called me one day and said I have a property I need you to look at she also said that I know you wanted a basement in the garage she said have an open mind and look at this property so I went and looked at the property I put a bid on it the next day they accepted my bid the following day and then all your awesome people went to work helping me get my house now I'm in it I closed on September the 27th and I love my house I'm moving in October 2nd maybe sooner but I just want to thank you all very much for helping me. I know it's one long sentence it's easier for me to talk to the phone instead of typing LOL.
