Easy, pleasant first time home buying experience.
I was disappointed with the inspection done by the assessor. I feel like he let me down. The fireplace that was such a big selling point isn’t even functional. If I tried to use it as a wood burning fireplace, I could have killed my family. The seller should have been required to alleviate the drainage issues that are undermining the foundation. With the shoddy work done here, I would have been well advised to have a re-inspection-by a different company than the one who did the 1st one.
I had a pretty great buying experience for my first purchase. I didn’t expect it to go so smoothly. I’m pleased.

Terrible communication. Complete incompetence. I will NEVER use Veterans United again. Andrew Meier was the worst. If it wasn't for my realtors, I would've walked away. I will not recommend Veterans United to any future veterans.
