If you're a Veteran and looking for a home mortgage company, Veterans United Home Loans will genuinely take the best care of you and your family. Veterans United made me feel like family! From the beginning of the process to the end United Veterans Home Loans had my 6! Everything was explained in easy to understand and carry out terms. The phone app was simple and easy to use and I was able to complete a majority of my tasks from it. My Concierge, Mykene, informed me of everything that was available to me and where to look on the app to find all the services I would be needing while moving in. Leah & Mike, my loan officers kept me informed and up to date with all the tasks and information I needed to complete or provide on a daily basis. My Realtor had allotted a minimum of 2 months time to close from when the offer was accepted. Veterans United Home Loans had me ready in just 4 weeks and we closed in the 5th week! I would recommend Veterans United Home Loans to anyone looking to follow their dreams and own their own home!

I had been away from family for 40 years. I had been thinking of moving home for some time. I retired from the Navy in 1998 and stayed in Virginia Beach after that. The crew with Veterans United and Patricia Irby made a dream come to life and I'm home in the Shenandoah Valley in beautiful Stuarts Draft Va. with my family and best friend Maxwell B. Dawgie the German Shepard.

Overall I will say the process was easy. Signing everything electronically and being able to upload all the paper work was very efficient and simple to do. They made sure everything was together for us for underwriting and rushed it to them for our situation.

This was the most seamless, hassle-free experience we've had purchasing a home. From beginning to end all of the team members were quick to provide guidance, respond to any questions or concerns without delay. It' hard to believe from beginning to end, finding a home to closing took 30 days! It was too easy. I'd recommend Veterans United to anyone looking to purchase a home. 10 stars.

Daniel was our loan officer from a previous home so he knew us. Though things had changed a bit since our last purchase Daniel and his team was ready to explain every detail and explain any hiccups that came up. The up front “we’ll take the point” on this home purchase was a welcome relief. The ease of contact with each member even at times after working hours was unbelievable. Using any other lender would never enter our minds again. We thank everyone on the team.

Underwriting was a nightmare for a couple with credit scores > 800. A paid of house, minimal debt and great income. I was asked to redo numerous things and to provide details of my life for over 7 years ago including divorce papers from a previous marriage. I have purchased homes before without all of this scrutiny
Closing was beyond ridiculous. I told them there was not resources in northern maine like mobile notifies or over night mail. We had to resign twice despite going to the title company and signing where they said to sign. We almost lost the sale due to delays and everyone becoming so frustrated
I chose your company because you supposedly serve veterans. My husband is fully disabled from a traumatic head injury and suffers from memory loss, anxiety and PTSD. I spoke with Matt at the initiation and explained this to him. On top of that, I was in Washington state and Gary was in Maine. I was not able to help him or buffer him completely. I was reassured that you were accustomed to working with similar situations and that it would be fairly stress free. This could not have been further from the truth. You should not advertise that you are there for the veterans. It is only a marketing ploy and not ethical to prey on this population that have served our country.
I have learned that in the state of Washington only the deed of trust has to be wet signed. I begged for the use of docusign to no avail. That alone would have reduced the stress of closing. There is so many smaller issues.
