Veterans United is very thorough and they are transparent as well. The thing I like the most was there easy to use website and format of their webpage makes it very easy to see what you have to do next as well as checking back on items that you’ve already completed.
Everyone starting with Dave Mays our real estate broker was just excellent and professional. He provided the upmost help and was knowledgeable about everything we asked. We could not have asked for a more enjoyable and less stressful process.
This is my 4 home purchased and of all the loan companies I've worked with in the last 20 years, Veterans United was the most friendly, helpful, and proactive team. Joel Deiber and my assigned team went above and beyond. They ensured a smooth and easy process and it really was one of the smoothest processes I’ve experienced. Communication was by far the best, they kept me up-to date every day. Emails, texts went smoothly and phone calls were always a treat. The stress of home buying as a veteran during this time was already very stressful, but Joel, Randee, and Courtney and the VA appraisal process really eased the the stress and worry.

Definitely more communication would be great. Seems like there were times when something was needed from me, or something was missing that I could help with and no one let me know. Things were last minute all the time. My realtor also felt like this was an issue

Keep working on communication between all the departments. Also try to look more into utilities for homes to make move easier. Some of our utilities needed extra stuff that we was not told of. Anything extra will help a lot.
