As first time homebuyers going into this process at first hearing all of the horror stories from others at what issues they've had from home buying in general made us nervous. Also watching a lot of house hunting and home improvement shows and what to look for we really felt prepared us for the worst if we had to face it. Our short timeline was a major challenge that all of who we worked with at Veterans United were up to from the start. Roughly around 30 days is enough of a challenge for anyone, but everyone was up to the task. Knowing that we got the pre-approval and the next day we were looking at houses. After seeing 11 houses in around 4 hours we narrowed it down to 3 houses that we really liked. After discussing those we got down to pros and cons of each house. Honestly comparing everything our final choice we couldn't stop thinking about seeing one like it just earlier in the day. The neighborhood was quiet and inviting. The excitement took over on planning events and holidays to come. Any questions that we had were answered quickly and with knowledge behind their words. This may have been our first time doing this, but this wasn't everyone's first time. The excitement and care didn't stop from the word go. Despite maybe a more self induced hiccup that was handled with speed and care nothing stopped moving. Then came closing week which seemed to fly by faster than a blink. We had keys in hand and we're ready to move in right away. The checklists were extremely helpful and kept us on track to be ready to move without many issues. It was a wonderful experience and would do it again maybe with a larger window of time to move.
The whole entire Team did Great and Awesome. Things were executed professionally and quick. Online tools were awesome and it did made things a lot easier. You all are Very good at what you do. We are very grateful. Thank you all so much.

I had problems with getting my phone calls returned. The week before closing couldn't get in touch with Matt. He told me later that he was on vacation that week. But he never mentioned he would be on vacation. Has to do better. I was in the dark for a whole week.
Derek worked above and beyond what was expected.
