First and foremost, Thank you all! Second, I'm glad it's over! At 55, this is my first home purchase. The first home I went under contract with was not so great, but I lay the blame on a shifty seller and an even shiftier seller's agent! Lesson learned. Regroup and got it done right the very next house with a new agent (Christi) I believe picked by Nicki & facilitated by Nicki & Rachel. In the end you all got me into the home I wanted so thank you!
Wow! Veterans United , my husband and I were lost til I called them. The team handled everything, stayed in contacted with us all the way through this process, even afterwards. I had no problem getting a hold of them. Everyone was extremely helpful and friendly. Even when I’d ask stupid questions. I can’t say enough about Veterans United, the staff is amazing ! I wish I would have called awhile back.

The appraiser sucked. They sat around for two weeks before putting a tidewater on the house for a marginal price difference in apprised and purchase price. That could have added a week till closing.I didn't have a spot for it, but jake tecklenburg would get a 10 from me. He did a great job keeping me informed on the status of everything. Im worried that getting some one like that was pure luck.Your fees are far to steep. Moving forward i will not be using vu again, mostly due to the high fees vu charges. I will also be strongly recommending my sailors look elsewhere.
