VU had a very personalized and local approach to our home loan. They know the area well and are familiar with the laws and policies that a larger lender might miss. Their website and documentation system is very simple. We were informed every step of the way.

My Closing was delayed due to errors on purchase price and I believe the request for Appraisal was sent late. We were on track to Close in 21 days, the appraisal also held up Closing. My first dealing with VU was seamless, this time not as smooth.
To Mike and his team, it has been said that one of the reasons people don't write thank you notes more often (among other things) is that they don't feel they can find the right words to express their appreciation.
