Do not recommend Veterans United in any capacity. If I had the time to pursue other options, even after having signed an agreement, I would gladly have forfeited the $3,500 earnest money to look elsewhere for financing and realty service. I simply did not have the time and had to close with this situation, as bad as it was.

I had a very bad experience trying to work with the financing team led by Brad Edwards. I am told by many that VU is an excellent company, and they would recommend them. I do hope that my experience was an anomaly.

It was my first time home buying experience. If I would buy a house again, I would definitely ask their help in the future . Well recommended to all my colleagues.
When I received the first phone call from Nate, my loan officer, I knew that I was in good hands. He walked me through every step of this process. He answered all my questions and reassured me when I had concerns. He truly treated me as if I were family. I didn't have to worry about what to do next. Veterans United has made purchasing our home and refinance a great experience. The application process all the way to closing was very pleasant and painless. All questions we had were answered timely and professionally. We have been pleased with our loan team. Lee Sattler was our assigned Loan Specialist and was excellent to work with. He contacted us with lower interest rate and refinance options that we couldn't refuse! We definitely would recommend Veterans United!

Our loan team ( Chris and Heather) were amazing. This was our first home purchase. We recently sold an estate home, and the buyer used some other lender. They were horrible. But our team at Veterans United helped us consistently and were great. We were relocating from out of state, and they were still able to close in 24 days. When I say amazing, i mean amazing!
