Jake Hanson and his team were amazing, they were able to secure a loan for us, we lived in Oregon and were moving to Arizona. They made the process so easy and they were very knowledgeable and were available anytime to answer any questions we had. Carmen Humphrey was our realtor, she was also amazing she found our home within 3 days and was ankle to get us the home we wished for. She is very patient and she dedicated her entire day to us and showing us around the area. I would definitely recommend them to anyone buying a home. They deserve a standing ovation. The loan team failed to fully address disabled veteran tax exemption questions/inclusion. When asked about it again, the loan officer said they couldn't recall a conversation and asked who I spoke to. I had emails from speaking to him about it three weeks prior.
They failed to properly line up payments from the initial offer to the proper party until I discovered it in the final paperwork, and pushed us to finish things quickly but then became the bottleneck in the process.
The underwriters seemed to ask questions that started to not only seem excessive at times to both us and the realtor, but often could be answered in previously provided documentation. The request to connect a second account to Plaid earlier in the process could've saved a lot of time.
Additionally, communication bounced between 3-4 individuals so at times it was unclear who we should be responding to.
These are the reasons for a less than 10 rating.
