DON’T APPLY FOR A HOME LOAN WITH ANY OTHER COMPANY THAN VETERANS UNITED. I recommend VU to everyone! I wouldn’t trust any other home loan company as I’ve seen multiple people have terrible experiences applying for homes with other companies.My experience with Veterans United home loans was amazing from beginning to end. Applying for a home loan can be daunting and complicated but there was nothing complicated about working with VU. The initial application was fast and easy to understand. The VU home loan process as a whole, was honestly seamless. Its designed so well, It didn't even feel like I was taking on a daunting task of applying for a home loan. Communication between the different departments and teams of VU was excellent.
I have to add that Josh Bennett is the most professional and intelligent specialist that I've ever dealt with. He was extremely gifted at helping me understand the process of applying and getting approved for the VU home loan. From the first moment we spoke, he was able to instill confidence in me regarding Veterans United as a company and he instilled confidence in me to reach the goal of final approval for the home loan. Josh was also excellent at establishing communication between me and other departments and team members such as Laura Patterson. With Josh and Laura working together, the approval process was extremely painless. I really felt like they were on my side as honest and genuine people. They really navigated the loan process with great intellect, inter-personal skills, and focus. The online portal used by VU is perfect for uploading required documents, accessing vital checklists for things that needed to be done, and receiving important documents from the VU team. I received some excellent gifts I didn't expect from the team! And speed, we closed on the deal much faster than expected! There are many companies out there that are veteran friendly but I am so happy that I chose to use Veterans United. I had the support of a fantastic team and because of this, the closing process resulted in zero stress - they did it all. They were extremely responsive and worked hard for me. Because of their efforts, I had the keys to my home in 3 weeks after putting the offer in. I highly recommend Veterans United!
