Veterans United made our first home buying experience simple during one of the craziest times in our lives. Between living in one state and buying in another, driving across the country, and my husband and I being separated by deployment right before closing on the house, our loan officer Devin McCall did absolutely everything he could to keep us happy and successful in our home buying journey. We were in a big hurry to get everything done, and it was nice to have such aggressive support from our loan company. If you use this company, request Devin!
My over all experience with everyone was great! As a first time home buyer it was nice to have a team to work with. I always knew who to go to for what I needed.

Simple and easy from start to finish. Never rushed. Always making sure I had what I needed to get my home at the same time making sure my financial security was taken into account. Reps were always fast to answer and very knowledgeable on the issues. Kevin was very friendly, easy to talk to and ask questions.
I’m easily overwhelmed by the slightest inconvenience. However, My loan team really eased the anxiety from start to finish and got everything done without me having a nervous breakdown… They’re the real MVPs.
Veterans United is a real team through out the home buying process. To be honest it was my first home and I was intimidated with the market and I didn't know much of what I was walking into. The VU team explained everything clearly and every step we made I grew more confident through the process. Mike Pitts and his team was responsive and always kept us updated. Honestly. No one reached out with a deadline. They handed me a bunch of To-Dos with no guidance. Thankfully my anxiety had me get it completed within 24 hours. The team kept saying "your realtor needs to help you" even though it was Veteran United asking for it to be done. I was even told by SAM to call Neptune flood insurance!! AFTER TELLING HIM I AM BUSY WITH VA APPOINTMENTS, AND SO I CALL AND THEY SAID THATS MY LENDORS JOB TO CALL AND THEY DONT KNOW WHY I'M CALLING!!! PATHETIC! I had little to no help. And When they did it seemed like they were taking their time. I got my own damn insurance quotes, I got it all figured out. And when they would "get back to me" it would be thats your realtors job" and my realtor was even confused as to what they were doing. As a first time home buyer, I was stressed out and wondering what the hell they get paid for when I did most of the work! I'm surprised they didn't have me write my own contract/underwriting.

This whole team was so incredibly from the get go. Spent most of the time talking with Chris and Leann they were just wonderful. Answering all my questions and making sure we had everything. This team really made this process easy for us. I just can't say enough how much I appreciate them all, thank you the team at VU!

When I first heard of Veterans United, I heard some stories from others saying that it was difficult to get approved, get the loan, bad communication, etc. I got absolutely NONE of that!! I believe I had the BEST team at VU! From the top down, they all worked so hard to get my loan approved and closed in an extremely quick manner. Kyle, Dene, Justin and the rest of the team that worked so diligently, I cannot thank you guys enough! I would buy 100 more houses if I knew I could have you for my mortgage team! If you're a Veteran and want to buy a home, this is who you need to finance through! They are the best!
