A fantastic team. My only complaint - a personal preference - is the rather large team which is sometimes hard to keep track of after so many calls and/or e-mails. I understand it helps James and his team be more efficient and the reason I will continue using and recommending this team is the personable and professional nature of this group. I caution having too many hands in the cookie jar, lest those traits become diluted. But AGAIN - great team. You couldn't be in better hands and I understand some folks will like the added team members.
Outstanding experience from start to finish! VU made the homebuying experience as stress-free as possible. In the midst of an absolutely crazy housing market in Tampa, FL, VU came through for us in buying our home with a VA loan. Communication with VU was top-notch. When we made an offer on our first-choice home, I informed Colin, our loan specialist, that the sellers wanted to close within 30 days. Colin immediately contacted the seller's agent and reassured them that VU would be able to close a VA loan within their desired timeline. Even though the sellers received other offers with traditional loans (would make the process easier for them as VA has additional requirements), they still accepted my offer. I have no doubt this was in-part because of Colin's communication that VU would close this VA loan on time, and they did! Thanks to the VU team for helping us make our forever home a reality.

Even though this is a national lender, it had a very small business feel. We could call and actually speak to Drennan and Lyndsay. When they didn't answer because they were with another customer,, they actually called back! And!!! The team sent a personalized gift that seemed absolutely tailored to us. Just amazing!
