Michael and the whole team did a great job! They were available and responsive even at the random and often outside of normal hours I tended to have questions during. They were extremely prompt and professional dealing with real estate agents and lawyers during a less than normal negotiation and closing and I was never left in the dark about the process when I expressed concern or curiosity!
Best closing I have ever had
There is no way I could have done this on my own and other loan companies made the process seem daunting and overly complex. With the guidance of my loan officer from Veterans United, I never felt uneasy about what to do next or if I wasn't getting enough information. He made all of the difference for me and I really felt like I was his main priority. My journey was a breeze thanks to him!
I thought Elizabeth was great. The people who worked with her, not so much. Problems: acting like my realtor was stupid, requesting things that weren’t needed, closing costs that were incorrect. Underwriting was a nightmare. A question about property i had sold close to 20 years ago? We’re getting too deep.This was my 11th property I’ve closed over the years, and it was probably the worst. This was the 3rd property I’d closed with the same realtor, and he’s the best I’ve ever had. He agrees, this one was pretty bad.

It has been 24 years since my husband separated from the Army and we have never before pursued using his VA loan benefit, so the process was new to us.
