Justin Menard my loan officer was above excellence. He was always available, on top of things, knowledgeable and very supportive. He treated me not only as a customer but as a friend and a brother. Other aspects outside of him such as realtor dropping the ball on issues was another story and that relationship which I discussed with Justin feel very short of being satisfactory. Veterans United helped me buy my first house. I went into this knowing I knew very little about home buying, and the team assisted my spouse and me the whole way through the transaction. We were able to leverage a cashback offer that other banks were offering for 1.75% on the home price as a way to either pay closing costs or to buy down our interest rate. We got lucky and our sellers agreed to pay the closing costs, so we got a great interest rate.
