Alberto was amazing at his job. He answered every question we had and even gave us his cell number and answered when he was on vacation. The process was smooth with the To Do List on the app we always knew what was needed right away. This is the 2nd time we used them for a loan and we will use again if we buy again. 10 out 10 recommend!
Honestly, I am glad I went with VU. They were diligent every step of the way. I would recommend VU to any veteran looking to improve their living situation. I wasn't in the best position at first credit wise, but I was coached the right way to get where I am now and get into my new beautiful home just in time for my twin boys to be born!

Communication was terrible and when items were needed it was not articulated properly. When my questions went unanswered I was told sorry we had refinance accounts to handle. Well they don’t have deadlines and closing dates but I do! Needless to say closing was not on time and they blamed the title company for not sending proper paperwork but the title company clearly did well in advance and I could even see who it was sent to. Do not appreciate being lied to when I asked what the problem was. A little integrity and humility goes a long way and neither were shown which ended up costing me time and money. I would never use this mortgage broker again.

The whole process from pre-approval to closing went smoothly. Veterans United set me up with an excellent realtor and followed up with me regularly over the months I was looking. Once I made an offer, they set up a to do list for me online that made it easy to have everything set for closing. A few days before closing I received a card and gift box from Veterans United and was so impressed that what they sent was perfect for me and not some generic gift they might send to anyone. Throughout the whole process they saw me as a unique individual and I appreciated that so much.

It a good process for the most part. I asked for something I thought simple to do ei put
my wife’s name on the deed with no explanation of why it wasn’t done is the main negative I am feeling negative about.
