My team was outstanding, they were great and above and beyond to help me and my husband thru the process. There were times I felt confused and frustrated but they helped me through it all. The process was amazing easy and we got through it with ease. The house is fantastic, the terms better than we expected, and we got it done just in time to celebrate our 49th anniversary in the new house. I can say that I am now on a new journey to enjoying my life in town and having neighbors again to celebrate all the holidays coming up. Simple and easy from start to finish. Never rushed. Always making sure I had what I needed to get my home at the same time making sure my financial security was taken into account. Reps were always fast to answer and very knowledgeable on the issues. Kevin was very friendly, easy to talk to and ask questions.
The only issue I have is updates on increase of payment. We went from getting 1k back to paying 3k at close. I get it is going to change. A call or text would be great. Other than that. Todd doesn’t play. He will get you in a home. We started aug 24th looking at a home we wanted. He got us in there by September 25th. Thank you Todd and your whole team.

I might recommend veterans united if I knew more. I have purchased several homes in my lifetime, but I have never, ever been drug through the ringer proving anything and everything about my life, my service, my finances, and producing documents to prove everything. I might have achieved a bit of a lower interest rate on my loan, but I had to pay $129.00 to dig up documents from the V.A. to produce proof of my service. I am 75 years old with an excellent credit rating, but I felt like I was a second rate citizen with serious problems in my past. I am told all these requirements were due to the V.A. If so, I feel sorry for our veterans who have to travel the same path. I will never attempt another V.A. Loan, and I would not recommend it to any one else. If Veterans United were not at fault, then I can give them a thumbs up for their efforts. Anyway, I feel abused by the process.

Having to track down so many documents and feeling like you were being questioned at every turn would be exhausting for anyone, and I regret that it left you feeling disrespected instead of supported.
Even though some requirements do come from the VA itself, I know that doesn’t lessen the frustration of going through it all. Veterans deserve to feel valued and respected throughout the homebuying journey, and I’m sorry that wasn’t the case here.
