It was an overall good experience being a first time buyer and a vet not used to really settling down it, it was difficult at times but all went well in the end...
Such a blessing to now be a walking talking testament to the power of prayer...Jehovah God certainly put the right team at work for us.

The experience was fast and easy. We were working with a local bank prior to being recommended to VU and the process was so tedious that we considered not moving forward with the purchase of a home. VU and our Loan Specialist made more progress with our approval and loan than the local bank did in 6 months. We appreciate the hard work, kindness and efficiency that made our first purchase utilizing a VA loan well worth it. We will definitely recommend to our friends and utilize in the future when it is time to move again!

Horrendous customer service. Loan officer didn’t give one single care about our needs and intentionally lied to us to cover her own mistakes. Mistakes that will cost us $30,000 over the life of our loan.

We used VU after researching VA loan lenders and glad we did. Easy peasy process, all online and closing credit. Use the VU concierge to get a realtor (free) who knows veterans and VA loans. Also recommend on a new build use a VU preferred builder like DR Horton who loves veterans and the cash credits for closing were unbelievable. We closed with zero closing costs due and got our earnest money back. This company and DR Horton are amazing !!!!
