I hope all veterans get the service I got with all the problems I have this is the best home buying experience anyone has ever had. Thanks so much again.

I can’t wait to buy again with you guys.

Highly recommend for veterans. Veterans United treats you like family.

Veterans United definitely goes above and beyond I would definitely recommend them to other potential veteran home buyers.

Would definitely recommend too any Veteran!

Veterans United is AMAZING! I would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone desiring a smooth & convenient mortgage loan experience!

This whole process was incredibly smooth with Veteran’s United. Our loan specialist Aaron was so attentive and kept me informed every step of the way. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Thank you so much for helping me make my dream a reality! This was a part of my 5 year plan and you all helped make that happen! I appreciate everything!

I felt confident that I was in good hands by using VU. They made the home buying experience less stressful and they explain everything along the way.

The knowledge and Experience of first time home buying was a scary process but with the team provided to my wife and I helped reassure us that home buying was not as difficult as it seems. The team was there every step of the way and continued to make sure we stayed on track with getting into the home in a timely manner. The experience was close to a PCS but civilian style which was a lot less stressful.

I am truly thankful to Veteran's United.

Working with Veterans United was honestly one of the worst experiences of our life. I developed an eye twitch for how nerve-racking it was. There was little to no return communication with the team, much less our loan specialist.
Poor Alison Pharr really had to pick up the slack and if her position entailed working with us more than Jake Faerber, I don't know why his name was ever even mentioned to us or that he's getting any type of extra payment for our loan. She did her best.
I'm not sure if Jake was sexist or what his issue was with reaching out to me, the wife, who handles all of our finances, but the only time he ever actually got on the phone with us was when my husband sent a message asking why they weren't communicating with me and when he called my husband, he immediately told him to call me because I was the one that handled everything. I never got that call. He had Jason call me for damage control, I guess.
We were assured all kinds of great things if we stayed with Veterans United and it
was like pulling teeth to get them honored.
It seemed as if they forgot and almost acted as if I made it all up . Nothing was updated on the loan review until I sent the screenshots of the conversation, which was literally hours before closing. Had I known that's what they were waiting for, I would have sent it the next day. In the end, that's the only thing that made me grateful we didn't actually speak on the phone but ridiculous that it is the thing I'm most grateful for throughout this entire transaction.
Every document we were asked to sign was done within hours, if not minutes.
We had other lenders beat what Veterans United was offering us across the board but we were promised we would close in under 30 days. That's the only reason we stuck with you guys. Have we known the hell hole we were about to get dragged through and go beyond the 30 days anyways (mind you, this is like 30 days after us supplying everything they asked for) we would have switched.
Each person I did get to actually communicate with Veterans United just apologized and at the very least, didn't try to come up with some nonsense about being behind because we have friends that started later and closed before us.
The homeowners felt so bad for us, they let us move in early. Our Realtor was convinced we were just going to give up on buying a house all together.
I know Jake was the one that made all of this awful but no one else at V.U. was able to get us switched to another loan specialist or able to really save us from this experience so the low rating goes to the company overall.
You guys didn't offer anything better then other lenders and as a matter of fact, it was just worse.
This experience gave us tourettes like triggers😂 Anytime we hear someone mention Veterans United or see a billboard for them, both of us just say out loud, "I f****** hate Veterans United!"
My father is a southern baptist Minister... just to give some perspective on that.
Response from Veterans United

I was originally nervous as I looked around for a VA home loan provider. After reaching out to Veterans United, I knew I made the right choice. From beginning to end of the buying process, each person went above and beyond to assist my family and I.
