The Veterans United (VU) Home Loan Team...Kristin Riney, Holly Wallace, Kaylyn Flaspohler, Courtney (can't recall last name) were exceptional from the very beginning with getting the application submitted and pre-approved within a few days, providing a comprehensive and easy to follow online checklist, obtaining/providing necessary info that the realtor was a bit slow in providing, continuously working with both the Seller Agent and Buyer Agent to keep both on track for the Closing Date. The years of experience by this team of ladies (apologies if others involved) was shown throughout the buying process. They answered any questions I had typically within a few hours and even after-hours. If this is your first time purchasing a home, then relax and let the VU team take all your worries and concerns away as that is precisely what they did. They are well versed in the VA process/rules with home buying and VA Disability benefits and will maximize your purchasing experience. I was not aware of the various benefits when it came to the Closing Cost and these ladies literally saved me thousands of dollars in the process....even so far as to get me a Closing Cost refund and I didn't actually pay anything towards the closing cost with the exception of the VA Appraiser.
These ladies advised about getting the Appraiser, Home Inspector, Pest Inspector before signing any contractual documents....I will say this was the catalyst to ensuring a great buying process.

Our experience with Veterans United was absolutely great! We didn't think we'd be able to buy a house as easily as we did. We filled out the online application and within a day's time, we uploaded income and asset documents to their server. About two days later, we had our pre-qualification amount (which we were amazed with by the way) and were ready to start making offers! About 4 months later, we're homeowners!! ...and the only reason it took 4 months is because of the housing market in our area... Veterans United is very highly recommended!
