Jacob and his team went above and beyond, this was my first time buying a house and I couldn’t have asked for a better team by my side. I never felt alone throughout this process, I had so many questions many that I felt were useless or pointless but asked anyways and they never made me feel like they weren’t important and always answered them quickly! They ensured I had everything I needed and provided me with so much information that I would need throughout every step of the process! I have absolutely no complaints with them and if I ever move down the road I know exactly who I will be using! Jacob even texted me on his day off to congratulate me on closing! That just shows that this isn’t just a job for him and he truly loves what he does and cares about each and every one of us! That spoke volumes to me and I will never forget that! I truly can’t thank them enough!

I highly recommend Veterans United. Having dealt with other mortgage lenders I can tell you they are the most knowledgeable when it comes to the VA Loan process. Even if you have undesirable credit; they have a team that coaches you on how to build it back up. You never have to worry about being embarrassed because there is no judgement. They really there to help. Although there is a lot of running around and document requirements in the beginning, I can assure you it is for a good reason. They are very thorough therefor making sure there are no surprises when it comes to closing.
My escrow is still outstanding after two weeks. not acceptable, that money should have been refunded at closing!

Through that conversation, it was determined that the outstanding refund and escrow balance are connected to your previous mortgage and its servicer, rather than your Veterans United loan or closing.
