The underwriting process was very trying and frustrating. I felt the underwriter did not have a understanding of both my finances and obligations as well as the redundant request for the same information. The need to explain and justify an optional choice for past expenses to include letters, transcripts and course and fee statements for my children college was (in my opinion) completely unnecessary and a waste of time and intrusive. Had it not been for Whitney, I would have cancelled the loan and the process.
