Using Veterans United for home loans is a hit or miss. I have had 1 good loan servicing interaction and 2 bad.

The VU associates on our team were all professional and personable and made our experience a very positive one. Loan Specialist John Lyman, in particular, made the complex mortgage approval process much simpler by taking time to explain all of our loan options and requirements in detail. He was always quick to respond to or (many) questions and provided excellent customer service through closing day. I also appreciated the MyVU portal, which made document receipt and delivery a breeze. I would not hesitate to recommend VU to anyone looking for a VA mortgage loan!

First time using Veterans United. It was above average experienceCommunication with my loan specialist was fair but would not get my recommendation.We closed late, we had multiple last minute request, last minute changes, lwst minute request which could've been prevented through due diligence and communication.Overall, still grateful. Thank you Veterans United for helping us purchase our new home!
