I can’t say enough AMAZING Things about John and my entire VU team!!! I was a first time home buyer and John, Kristina, and Joe made sure everything ran beyond smoothly for me from beginning to end. They checked in on me, held my hand every step of the way. I thought this process was going to be super stressful and unpleasant. But because of this team, the hardest part was simply me finding the right home! Everything that I imagined would be difficult was a breeze thanks to these amazing people!! I literally closed on my house 43 days from going under contract ! John ensured all of my financials and proof there of were input and noted exactly the way I explained to him during the pre-approval process. Kristina followed up with me making sure everyone they had paired me up with (realtors) had reached out within their specified time frame. Hands down, When I move in the future, I want this exact team again! I hope I have the opportunity to work with these amazing people in my future home buying process and i would absolutely WITHOUT HESITATION recommend each and every person on this team to any
and everyone looking to have the utmost best home buying experience!!!!!!

We worked with Veterans United for almost six months, during the entire time our home was being built. Everyone that was involved with our loan process was professional and great to work with. We look forward to sending our family and friends to Veterans United when they are looking to find that perfect home. Thank you Veterans United!

Would definitely use again..not one problem throughout the entire process!

My soul died. I have written hundreds of reviews on various sites. I understand the impact a negative review has on a business. Overall, the staff was great to deal with and respectful, texting with them was very helpful and quick. Now on to the bad, imagine doing an SF86 (background check) and getting it rejected over and over, (some of us know this pain). This is what doing a refinance with this company was like. It was an insanely difficult process; they wanted to know what any transfer of over $1,000 in my checking account was for (because I had two checking accounts), leading them to ask for my wife’s checking account info, what my two small allotments on my LES were for, and so forth, I had to write one of many letters to them. Then they wanted to know why I had so many credit checks and they made me write another letter to them explaining it was them doing the credit checks, yes them, a total of 3 credit checks. I had over an 800 score when this process started, you literally can’t make it up, nuts! They ran my first credit check without even asking if they could. Then as we got closer, they were like we need to do a water test. You would think after doing thousands of VA loans this would be second nature, nope. I had to send a new LES and banking statement as each month passed, I felt as if I was a criminal. Then they said my pay for that pay period was less than it should be for the year and they wanted to know why, I had no idea what they were talking about. Bad math on their end. Like I said I had over an 800-credit score and a larger payment than what I was refinancing for. Then trying to find out what I was saving for the current year of my mortgage with the new APR, apples to apples was like pulling teeth. If you were to ask me if would do it all over again, heck no.

Ryan, it is important to us that we work hard to provide excellent service, and we realize that the home buying process can become stressful when working to gather the required documentation. Thank you for sharing your open and honest feedback. Licensed Underwriters comply with regulations to ensure loans are properly documented, and we work to make that process as easy as possible. Please reach out to us if you would like to discuss your experience further.
Veterans United is not just a Mortgage Company. There are realtors, movers, utilities concierge, insurance brokers etc. They all work together to make the process as painless as possible and strive to find you the best deal for you. They communicate with each other taking the stress out of the process for you. They also keep you in the loop every step, mine was long distance so we did it online and through text, message and phone calls. Their Website is very user friendly and you can follow the process there. Overall it was a great experience.

Awesome they finally finished but honestly for my first home buying experience, this was awful. The joy was taken away from this experience and I'm more mad than anything. Just go to a different company it will be more worth it.

Your updates , step by step the process went so smoothly and fast I will recommend Veterans United home Loans to everyone.

Gabe Underwood our loan coordinator was very respectful and helpful but at times would have contradicting answer to things I have spoken to Patrick about. Very helpful and took care of us at the end of the entire process.

Just give me a call and I will tell you that the service was great.
