From pre-approval to closing was less than 50 days. My loan specialist Andrea always kept in contact. Nearly everyday I got a call or email with updates. The process was fast and simple. I could have gotten a slightly better interest rate through my bank but they took their time getting back with me and demanded irrelevant information to get pre-approved. This was my first home purchase and first time using my VA loan. I was always kept in the loop on what was happening and what to expect. If I had a question I got a response that day. Heard back more from Veteran's United than my own realtor. I had a very positive experience and would recommend them to other military buyers.
