I will never use this mortgage company again as it took many many times of reviewing documents over and over and making me resend them before closing the closing date also got pushed so far to the right that it cost me thousands of extra dollars which veterans United said they were going to recoup and never did

I was in a sticky situation. My landlord gave me 30 days notice to move out because he was selling the house (I was on month to month rent since I lived there for 5 years). So I called VU and gave them the scoop. They gave me a pre-approval that day. As of Oct 4th I now own my own home. A little over 30 days. If you have your ducks in a row it can be done. THE CHRIS HILL TEAM WAS AWESOME!!! and the realtor they hooked me up was phenomenal!!! Everything went as smooth as smooth can be with the Chris Hill team and my realtor Nichole Kent. From pre-approval to closing was less than 50 days. My loan specialist Andrea always kept in contact. Nearly everyday I got a call or email with updates. The process was fast and simple. I could have gotten a slightly better interest rate through my bank but they took their time getting back with me and demanded irrelevant information to get pre-approved. This was my first home purchase and first time using my VA loan. I was always kept in the loop on what was happening and what to expect. If I had a question I got a response that day. Heard back more from Veteran's United than my own realtor. I had a very positive experience and would recommend them to other military buyers.
