Tim Alvis would be great for someone who is NOT buying their first house. He would be a great candidate for someone who is an experienced buyer. It was not a good experience for me and my husband and we were disappointed in his complacency that ultimately changed our closing date and our view of veterans United home loans.

Purchased March 20, 2023. I didn't think I would of been able to Purchase a Home myself, but with the guidance and constant assistance from the Loan Team I was able to Close on my first House! I can't thank the Team enough for their hard work and efforts to make this a Reality :)

The overall experience was seamleasly smooth. I'd always been intimidated by the idea of purchasing a home but am blessed to have come across Veterans United. ***Disclaimer*** My lovely wife did most of the facilitating because she interacts with people very easily but she is just as happy with the service as I am.
From the very beginning Veterans United was impressive. It started with a simple inquiry online, and within minutes, Lauren called. At that time my wife and I were on a trip, so I gathered some quick info, and explained to Lauren that I would be in touch after our trip. She listened and let me reach out to her once we were back home. Once we got started on the loan process, it could not have gone smoother. Talking to Lauren didn't feel as if we were talking to a stranger, but a friend. She was there any time and any day we needed her. Lauren is extremely professional, but at the same time, laid back and fun to work with. She is outstanding!!! We feel very fortunate to have worked with Veterans United, as they are competent, and make what could be a stressful situation, smooth and stress free.

Austin and the team were absolutely amazing. All of them were consistently checking in to make sure we were happy with the process and always had the answers to any of my questions. Nikki Cravens‑Howard Was the only person I had an issue with, she was distant and I constantly felt as if I was a bother when dealing with her. She did not respond when needed and passed me off to others again making me feel as though I were not important enough to deal with. Every other team member I dealt with were a 10+.
