Overall, I had a positive experience working with Veterans United for my home purchase in Chicago. The team handled the VA loan requirements and appraisal efficiently and I appreciated the clear communication regarding the conditional approval and final clear to close.However, there were a couple of minor issues. I experienced some communication delays around some questions regarding my mail forwarding and the final cash to close was significantly higher than the initial estimate provided by the lender, which felt abnormal and was a bit of a surprise at the end. Despite these hurdles, the team ensured we stayed on track for a successful closing.

I want to personally thank Dustin Johnson for everything he did during my home buying process. Rotation was quick to respond to any questions I had. He was patient while walking me through every step of the process to ensure I not only understood what needed to be done, but also explained the importance and reasoning behind every step.
