Nervous home buyers will call and text many times. Even if it's a short, "hey, I'm tied up right now, but I'll get back with you soon," message, just touch base. You guys do these a dozen times a day. We do a few in a lifetime.
I truly thought this was going to be one of the most difficult, lengthy processes I have experienced, especially as a first time homebuyer. To say the VU Team made everything as easy and seamless as possible is an understatement. From start to finish, the team walked me through every step, answered every question. They made the process so easy, I think we closed in less than a month! It went so fast and easy, it certainly feels like it was less than a month. I've worked with a few lenders, and truthfully, this team was the BEST! They were there for every step of the way and helped us go through the process smoothly. Special shoutout to Jordan who always made us feel at peace and explain everything thoroughly.
Good communication; the portal was easy to use. Loved the additional assistance from the concierge folks. I thing the only thing I think would help would to be to have the VU closing staff assigned to the team up front also so that we wouldn't necessarily need another person as a go-between.
