I feel like we were not given enough information throughout the process. The checklist is designed to help the home loan specialists, not the veteran. I would rather do most of the talking on phone and told what they need and send them info my own way and they can upload paperwork on your dollar. I'm a disabled vet with 2 small kids and limited resources. Things did not run smoothly. As, a result, it made a working relationship between myself and loan officers icy.
