The APR was one of the few good things about this experience. Seemed to be a lack of communication on the lender side between coworkers. We have bought and resold seven properties before this one, and this was by far our worse experience. The fee we was charged definitely did not match the service that we were provided...i will not recommend anyone to veterans united.

In regards to refinancing, the current market and interest rates are nearly as good as you're likely to see on average (currently Aug. 2020). If you're on the fence about refinancing for a better interest rate, now is probably the time to start the process and find out what financial advantages you can get. Be advised, there are still closing costs associated with refinancing, but those costs pay for themselves in terms of the savings you'll be getting in the long term. Thanks and good luck everyone!
Veterans United makes the home buying process extremely simple from getting pre approved to the closing day. Their online portal makes everything so easy and simple to submit all required documents and signing all necessary paperwork from their end. I would recommend them to any veteran looking to buy a home.
