I absolutely do not recommend Veteran's United. Communication was lacking after the first week's introductions. I fully understand I had more difficult than average file, I'm sure, but it I had to constantly repeat myself, provide the same documents "pitched" a different way and just felt no backing whatsoever. I could not get in contact with the loan team, nor could my real estate agent when things seemed as though they were falling apart at the end. I called everybody on the team multiple, didn't want to leave a message because my emails weren't being answered, so another message was pointless. All in all, I had a 1000x better experience with USAA. I felt like I was a hassle, when your company is going to make money off of me.
