We had a few friends buying and refinancing houses around the same time we were with other companies. At first we took for granted that we were always well informed, that we had constant contact with our loan officer, and that we got timely responses on the next steps. After talking with others, we discovered this easy process was pretty unique!
As a first time home buyer this experience can be daunting as it's a huge commitment. Throughout the whole process, I never felt confused or like I didn't know what was going on because of my loan team. I knew I could reach out to them at any time with questions, and I did, and after speaking with them I immediately felt better knowing things can be resolved with a quick email, text, or call.
Damien has always been very responsive to emails, telephone calls, etc. no matter how busy he is (and he is ALWAYS busy).

From getting my first quote on how much I’d be approved for to closing on the house, every step was very smooth and I never stressed over anything. I was assigned a great realtor and a great loan team.
From beginning to end, we are so pleased with our experience working with Veteran’s United! They were also very quick to respond to all of our questions, concerns & requests. They also sent a very sweet personalized house warming gift - which was totally unexpected & very sweet! They are currently in the process of closing on another home but used a different lender this time around - what a HUGE mistake they made to go with anyone other than Veterans United!
