Colin and his team was absolutely amazing! They was clear and concise on what they needed from me as well as upfront with problems that may arise in my particular loan. They truly worked hard for me and my family to get the home we needed. I will use them again in the future if needed and would not hesitate to recommend his team and VU to my friends and family.
It was an amazing and positive experience to work with Veterans United. Mark, Justin and Angie were always there to answer any questions and encourage me during the loan process. I would definitely recommend Veterans United to any veteran looking to buy a home.
Veterans United worked very hard to see that I was able to get the home I wanted and to get me the best deal to suit me and I am very pleased with the way I was treated anytime I needed a question answered they were there for me and I appreciate everything they done for me thank you and your team for all the help
We are extremely happy we had chosen Veterans United to get our home loan. Tom Champion & all the people like Kayla Martin that helped to put this loan together in order for us to get this loan and the home we wanted were caring efficient & very courageous oriented group of individuals. Very happy with how things were handled. Thank you to all that helped us along the way.
Thank you.
I honestly doubted their high ratings. No company has such great scores... Well now I’m a believer! They were with me from the beginning to the end. Always kept me well informed and provided great advice. Very professional and helpful.
A great company
You think you're receiving a great service, but, they still charge points and you must pay a year of insurance up front plus property taxes for four months plus abstract insurance even though you pay to have the abstract brought up to and they outsource your loan. Totally and completely unacceptable. As well, they were told numerous time we were property tax exemption, but still figured it in and then would not remove it once proven because they were outsourcing the loan and the new loan service would take care of it. They are impossible to get hold of.
Response from Veterans United
Mark, we understand how frustrating it can be when important details seem unexpected and we value your honest feedback. You have touched on a few topics regarding closing costs that are common. We apologize if these were not discussed in greater detail during the loan process. Our Client Advocate team will treat this as a potential training opportunity with a goal to provide improved service to future customers. You may reach out to our team of dedicated specialists for any of your customer service needs. We are eager and available to provide ongoing support as you transition into your new home.
Instead of buying a house. We had one built. They communicated with the builders the whole way. Worked our down payment into closing cost. Which we ended up getting money back from. That was convenient since it was a new house and some additional items were needed.
I had an awesome first home-buying experience with Veterans United. They were able to answer every question I had along the way. I would recommend them to new and experienced home buyers alike.
