We worked with Don Smith's team, and they were outstanding! They even price-matched the previous lender's interest rate with no out-of-pocket costs to us. They were able to close our manufactured home in just 16 days! They were professional, easy to get a hold of, communicated well, and just fast overall. They took each new hurdle in stride and really fought for us. When it comes to Don's team, I would choose to work with them time and time again. Without them, we wouldn't have our house now.

I specifically told my team that this was all new to me since this was my first purchase. I was assured that I would have someone guide me through the process. I only got contacted when I didn't go and figure out how to complete tasks without any help. And even then, it was just a simple, "you have tasks to do." My realtor did almost no work when it came to searching for a house and even did the final walkthrough without me (I didn't know that was not normal since I HAVEN'T DONE THIS BEFORE).
As much as I wanted to go with Navy Federal Credit Union for my mortgage, the constant communication and speed of responses from Veterans United gave me more confidence that they would be able to get my loan closed on time with little friction. A+
