Listen. If you are serious about owning a home, Veterans United is definitely a preferred option, in my opinion. The steps it took to purchasing our home was frustrating to say the least. In my wife and I case, we were purchasing from our landlord, so a realtor wasn't necessary. However, gathering the necessary documents, coordinating with the different agencies like appraisals, home inspections, insurance, title company, and loads of paperwork, signatures, and questions are still very much a part of the process. Our team, Nick Holman, Courtney Gully, Francie Greene, and the rest of their supporting members were there from the first phone until the closing on our home. They fielded every question, listened to all of our frustration, guided us through the whole process step by step, and we're encouraging, patient, professional, and, most of all, very polite, friendly, and engaging whenever we were in contact with them. I mean they kept in touch by phone, text, and email. Even sent us mail. Who does that in this technology age? Seriously, they were the best team my wife and I could ask for in communicating with us and our landlord to make this dream a reality!! I used Veterans United to finance my original mortgage on my house. They were so knowledgeable of all things veterans that I didn’t have to over-explain or take extra steps like I do with most organizations. They made the process so smooth that they were my first choice when it came time to refinance. Chris is awesome. He was my loan officer on my original loan. He is prompt and professional. He knows his stuff and answered EVERY question I had no matter how ridiculous it was. So when I applied to refinance and was notified that Chris was once again going to be my loan officer, I was beyond relieved.
