The underwriters should ask for everything they need up front with explanation. Possibly provide a extensive list upfront instead of asking multiple times for the same information. At times I felt like they didn't want to lend me the money. This was my 4th mortgage over 35 years with an impeccable credit score never missing or being late on a payment and if the request for all the information in the beginning of the process was requested I would have gladly provided it. Rachel and Stephanie were always available, helpful and professional.
Very smooth process - easiest loan process in three homes bought.
This is the 2nd home we have bought through Veterans United. I have most all of the necessary paperwork online from my company and so providing Veterans United with the required documents through their online document system was a breeze and made the home buying simpler than buying a car (almost).This is our 3rd home, if we do buy again, I will use Veterans United for sure.
