Veterans United provided an unmatched home buying experience. The app works flawlessly and all required tasks can be completed or submitted digitally. This wasn’t our first home loan but this one through Veterans United was so much more professional and easy. We went from mildly interested in buying again to in the home in less than 60 days. We used their in house connected real estate agent and he was also an incredible fit and worked hard to get us into exactly the home we wanted. Couldn’t have asked for a better homebuying experience!

This company does such an amazing job keeping you on track. The updated To-do list in my portal and detailed instructions on what they needed and how to obtain them was amazing. The team reached out constantly to make sure I was taken care of every step of the way making this process feel like a walk in the park compared to some of the horror stories I have heard about purchasing a home.

My realtor didn't know much about veterans united. I was referred to them by another more experienced realtor and I'm so glad she did. I spoke with several lenders who were all more than happy to tell me no and not offer any help or support for me to get to yes. Veterans United never said no they originally approved me for 40k which can almost be as bad but they gave me something. I went and turned that something around with their help to a 432,600$ house. So a little help and encouragement can go a long way. They made the process seamless. They were always there to remedy any snags and were always by the phone when I was panicking. Out of the whole process they really stood far above the rest of everyone who worked together to make this happen and I will never forget it!
Accolades would not be complete with out singling out the real worker, Holly Wettlaufer. When something was unexpected or the sellers were changing stuff on the fly Holly was there to right the ship, give me sound advice, reassurance and generally just pat me on the head and say “it will all be OK” If the scale could go higher than 10, Holly would easily have earned it! Great performance by a superb team of professionals who want to take care of Veterans…. I don’t think any other statements could ever encapsulate their performance better!

Thomas Clusiau (our first appointed realtor in ND) should have his license revoked. He was not only unprofessional, he was on vacation while we were in need of a home and put us on the back burner. He made offers without our knowledge and offered earnest money that we did not offer. He refused to put our offer in writing after multiple requests. When confronted, he said “that’s what ND is like”. He then lied and told us the home that we ended up purchasing after switching realtors had sold and that it was no longer on the market. When he told us that he then told VU that my family was taking a break from looking at homes and never contacted me again which was a lie. I would like to receive a phone call about this.
