Our whole team did an excellent job and were extremely helpful along the whole way. This is our first home and the made it the best experience ever!
Although moving is very stressful Veterans United made it a fun experience
My situation was different because I was dealing with a Bankruptcy that had a time limit before I could close and Samantha and her team was with me waiting and giving me pointers and directions through the whole process. It warms my heart to have such a human experience in home buying. Veterans are lucky to have Sam and her team on their side.
Thank you to the whole team!! So quick and pain free. At times I was slightly stressed out and the team put me to ease.
Absolutely terrible. It was a living nightmare of a process. All seemed good until we got a week out from close. Then the left hand didn’t know what the right hand was doing and all this extra stuff came popping up out of nowhere. We had to push back our closing 3 times and almost lost the house! On top of that our estimated closing costs more than doubled over a weekend and we weren’t notified until the day before close. Even the day of close I had to come up with extra money to get the CTC and we didn’t even end up needing it.
Response from Veterans United
Tyler, thank you for letting us know about your experience. We understand that preparing you for settlement is part of our commitment to excellent service. Our Client Advocate team will be researching your comments and will work alongside our teams to discover what may prevent a similar experience in the future.
Easier than a conventional loan
To EVERYONE at "VETERANS UNITED" that were involved in this home-buying process...The professionalism, courtesy, non-intrusive follows ups, communication, proverbial "handholding" and patience with me through each step along the journey of this process to reach my ultimate goal has made me a VERY PROUD Veteran and now- a 1st time homeowner. It has been an honor to serve and a pleasure doing business with each and every one of you! On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best- I wish I could raise the roof and give you a 15...yes, a "FIFTEEN"!
We appreciate all the assistance in the purchase of our house. Everything went smoothly ( except for the house key availability at closing ) Yet Danny went above duties to assist in our obtaining the key to our new house. Thank you to all involved in the process. 🙏🏼
I’d absolutely recommend Josh and his team to anyone. If we refinance, it Josh is the first person we’ll call.
Kudos all around.
The Team here is spectacular!!!I highly recommend working with these professionals.I would definably work with them again and again.
I appreciate everybody who went out of their way to make this an easy process for us in a quick one at that everybody was aware that my wife is pregnant and the baby is due here pretty soon and they made sure we were going to get into the new house on time.

Experience first-hand why 322,345 homeowners give us a perfect score!
Easy process; kept me informed throughout...2nd time I have used. The reason this isn't a 10 is because the closing statement initial vs final was off by $6000 and I wasn't notified of discrepancy until 48 hours before closing and only because I insisted on getting a final version. 48 hours is pretty tough to move money...this cannot happen. When brought up VU blamed title company...and title company blamed VU.
Once I started back in 2021 trying to get a home and applying for the veterans United loan there was a lot that I needed to do which I did accomplish then came the hard part trying to have these people understand where I wanted to move and where I was set to move and they kept changing and wanting me to move somewhere else That's not what I wanted to do I knew where I wanted to go as far as your realtors for United veterans I cannot say anything about them because they never once helped me not one of them you might want to look at that aspect and find decent realtors to help people like me and other people find a home after trying three of yours I decided to go with my own and 4 months later I had a home that was the only setback I had and problem I had with the VA your realtors are no good no responses no help very rude and Seth and Julia couldn't help me out they said there was nobody in Clearfield that would could help me and so my option was to go on my own which I did and if it wasn't for myself finding a realtor I don't even know if I would have got into this house so it wasn't always Seth and Julia I give myself most of the credit because if I haven't had a good realtor I don't know what I would have done overall we had our ups and downs we had stories told to us that you guys would pay for stuff and then in the long run back out and I would have to come up with the money so if you were not positive or not sure that you were going to pay for it don't let the person know Make sure your communications are better when you have so many people involved and you tell one person something and they don't feel tell the other then it makes a big problem My friend wants told me that the VA loan is very hard to get it is not easy and yes I do agree with them 100%, it's not the easiest way to go if I could have done this again I think I would have went conventional it would have been less stressful unless headache and easier on myself and even my realtor I feel very bad for her because she has done more work than anyone for me and has always been my backbone and back to me and John up I appreciate everything she's done for us she went above and beyond and it's sad she only gets assault small percentage I wish you would have got more
Being my first time buying a home it was nerve-racking. Mitchell and my agent Dave walked me through the entire process very smoothly. Mitchell explained everything to me regarding the loan application and numbers. He was willing to go the distance to make sure I got the best rate and home buying experience. Thanks
We are eternally grateful for the experience we had with Veterans United Home Loans, particularly Corey! They made every avenue of buying our new home seamless because of the reminders provided, resourceful recommendations, consulting, and the reassurance for every step of the process!
I strongly urge all veterans to utilize their VA Loans and work with Jessica at Veterans United!
