If you are active, retired, or a veteran and you don’t use VU, you are missing out! This team is legit, and they went above and beyond.
Seemingly everything they requested, I tried to get done asap I feel like they would post it day of and I would get it done night of. It would pend review for about 36 hours everytime. I talked to my realtor about the documents they were sending me. I didn’t understand the loan and closing cost estimates it looked like just a ton of numbers. My realtor said the loan company was supposed to go over that with me. Nobody went over it with me. I think I only talked to them directly on the phone 2 or 3 times. I told my family and friends this is an extremely confusing and stressful process working with them. I responded to an email within 5 mins of it being sent and I didn’t get a response back for days. They took days off of work without notifying me I just found out their first day out of office. Their replacement took about 3 days to respond back to me saying to help. My close got moved from 12/29 to 1/2. They didn’t understand the documents that the title company sent, the title company sent the same thing 5 times with an explanation. I will probably never use Veterans United if I have a choice. I want to include that this process was over the month of December so sure there was Christmas and new years but even before that there was a total lack of progress.

Jamie my credit consultant was great and got me the information to get where I needed to be very fast! Johnna was wonderful during the home buying process and answered every question she could as fast as she could, even when she was out of office! Johnna is a rock star and veterans United should be grateful to have her on their team, I sure was!
