I'm late to the home buying game of life. At age 61, I thought perhaps I would never own a home. From the moment I spoke with Krystal Palmer and then Brayden Byrd...I felt like they closely ...and I mean CLOSELY held my hand and guided me to a "safe landing" of home ownership!! The Lord says He formed us in the palm of His hand...well He has a couple "Angels" on Earth...called Krystal Palmer and Brayden Byrd that help Complete people down here! My 95+1/2 year old mother has just sold her house she lived in for 66 years and I will take her in to live at the Home that both Krystal and Brayden made possible. Thank you...thank you...thank you!!
There is absolutely no other place Steve and I would go than Veterans United. They are more than a team of experts who process your home loan, they treat you like family. That is exactly how we feel about Kelly Tolster. She has been a part of our lives for many years. We have had 3 loans with Kelly and trust her expertise. She is a very hardworking loan officer and get the job done!
I was confused about the underwriter. Moving to a different location without a house and filing for a transfer with my job is a hectic process. For some people, you can't just file a transfer and drop everything with your job to include potential trainings just to satisfy the underwriter that the house that you are purchasing will be your primary residence. There's a process on everything. It will take time to move your family to include jobs especially if you work for the government and military reserve.
Again, I have to say George was amazing and I hope you send as many people his way because he was truly the best!Everyone we talked to at Veterans United was great and I’m so glad we had such a great team by our side while buying our first and (hopefully) forever home!
Zach Roberts and Tom Purk were awesome. They explained every step of the process and answered all of our
questions in a timely manner. I work nights and they worked around my schedule, which was great.
We could not have made better a choice than Veterans United.

Let me start by saying that the first though of buying a home is scary. Not the buying, but the process of redundant paperwork and personal scrutiny of personal information, credit and so forth. After the very first call with Jon Ouk, our loan officer he calmed my nerves down and made me comfortable. From then on, it was smooth sailing. The whole process made me felt very comfortable as the loan team provided guidance the whole way. Communication was spot on. I'm very thankful to work with Veteran's United because they have a tailored service just for me. We got our dream home and it's still sinking how real it is.
