Coming out of the military was not easy. After my deployments to Bagram, Afghanistan the struggle to adapt to the civilian world was a nightmare. I couldn’t socialize with people, deal with problems in my life, or make strong efforts in any direction to better my life. Some people I served with are now addicted to drugs, in jail, have lost their minds, or even taken their lives.I felt like even though I did incredible things in the military while deployed and stateside, there was no way I could fix my life from all the avoidance of my problems after I got out.
I felt the “American Dream” was never going to be something I would ever have. After all the pain and suffering from everything I went through, God had other plans for me.Veterans United made it happen for me and my family. I’m so grateful for this. It is miracle from God to be at this point in my life now and I cannot be happier.************************************************
So now when they ask me for a name for my order, I reply “Homeowner”.When I have to get around someone with my cart full of Milwaukee hand tools at the Home Depot, I say “Excuse me!….Homeowner coming through.”.If I were to get pulled over immediately after the Police Officer asks “Do you know why I pulled you over?”
my response would be “Because I’m a Homeowner.”I identify as Homeowner.I started a small militia and called it “Neighborhood Watch” because I am now a Homeowner.Hey Siri play “Flo Rida - My House” on repeat, Forever.************************************************

Everyone was amazing from consistent communication and information as well as working to flex to unseen problems! Definitely made buying my first home while deployed a smooth experience!
I personally would recommend VU to all veterans the loan teams there worked hard to get me the rate other companys were offering and even adjusted the rate two times because I continued to shop for the best rate. They went above an beyond to ensure I got the rate I wanted. Todays intrest rates are very important and Amanda and the loan team did an amazing job handling my requests.
