I didn't like that I wasn't given my closing disclosure until a few hours before closing. I had to rush around to get a Cashiers Check prepared. I wasn't given payment instructions for the title company and had to call the title company myself to get it. Also, my loan officer insisted that escrow was required for VA loans, which I know isn't a VA requirement.
However, I did like the ease of the VU app, the concierge, and the realtor.
Veterans United is amazing! I worked with a different loan company about year ago to get pre-approved and they couldn't even compare to Veterans United. The loan agent and team, along with the easy to use website made the whole home loan process a lot less stressful and easy. I highly recommend anyone I know to go through Veterans United if they're even thinking about getting a home loan, we are extremely happy that we didn't go with our original lender.
As a result by the professional team at Veterans United, a positive outcome was obtained for me.
Veterans united is an awesome and helpful service. All the people i worked with were a 10/10. Veterans united made the home buying process so easy. I would have been so lost without them. I never thought buying a home would be this easy!!!

Very pleased with my choice to use Veterans United.
I think they were trying to get over on me. They have a couple of things that were suspicious happen like on my to do checklist after telling them I couldn’t verify repairs magically. My checklist showed up the next day were that I had verified repairs which I hadn’t done. And had to request them to remove it and send me a text saying I didn’t verify them.
