Kris was excellent. Very communicative, provided concise information and worked well with us in understanding our loan and getting through the loan process. This was our 5th morgage process we've been through and by far the best and easiest due to Kris.
The entire team at VU help me by understanding my unique situation and going beyond doing some research to figure out what else I needed to get my loan approve. From Travis, Chance, and Briana they dedicated themselves to make this happen. I am beyond satisfied with their efforts, excellent team at Veterans United.
This was my third Mortgage through Veterans United Home Loans. Every time has been made so simple and easy for me even while transitioning from Active Duty to retirement, and while purchasing a home after changing jobs and moving to a different state. I will always use and recommend Veterans United Home Loans when purchasing a home with a VA loan.
Some things could have went smoother. Underwriting doesn’t seem to pay attention at times, which is worrying. My loan coordinator Alix was absolutely wonderful. She was on time with everything and answered any and all of my questions. She was a freaking rock star!

Do not tell us lies. I was lied to about the locked in rate. They changed it right before we closed for the second time. I was lied to about closing. It moved for WEEKS. I was also lied to about when I would have to pay. I was told payments wouldn’t start till two months after closing. That was not the case. This was a horrible experience and the only reason we had to experience it is because we are poor. Improve your processes.

This is the second time using Veterans United to purchase a home. We did canvas around with other lenders. However, the sheer professionalism from Veterans United has outshines all competitors. Never once did they try to speak negatively about their competitors. They simply reinforced what and how they can help throughout the process. This character and professionalism is what won us over, and will continue to win us over.If you want a lender that will treat you right and fairly, then look no further.

I really wanted to thank my loan team for helping me find another great place to live! The care they have shown has gone such a long ways. As a congratulatory gift, they gave us a care package tailored towards my son! The care and attention to detail to remember where he was at developmentally really went a long ways in making us feel seen, even in a virtual partnership. I'm to have gotten to work with them again.
