Estimated closing costs were low by $3,000.00. This was unexpected and unwelcomed news. Although they know their way around a VA Loan, they may not have specific knowledge of rates (taxes/insurance/etc..) in your State. For me, it was still a better experience than I have had with “local” lenders in the past. Having to recover the extra $3,000.00 is something I could have done without though.
I was a 1st time home buyer using my VA benefits. First I’d like to thank the VA for having this program. myVA was simply a blessing at guiding me and coaching me along the way.
