I was never asked before the process began if I had money to pay for the inspection, appraisal, earnest money, or closing costs. These costs should be explained to people before they even apply for a mortgage.
Overall, we are extremely satisfied with our experience with Veterans United. It is such a beneficial resource for veterans and active-duty service members, and we are incredibly grateful it exists.
