I would give it a 10, but there was quite a bit of back-and-forth due to the underwriters demands. Notwithstanding, my loan officer, Kapil, did his level best to run interference and was able to make everything work.
If you qualify for a home loan these guys will make it happen! Joel was top notch! Always took the time we needed and listened to every concern or question we had! Extremely nice and professional man!
My entire experience with veterans united and the team assigned to me honestly could not have gone better. At a time where my life was in a really difficult place they absolutely made this the least stressful it possibly could’ve been. I am extremely grateful. Kenny and Matt were so kind and Honestly felt like a huge support system for me and my son in a hard time.

Working with Veterans United has been an absolute pleasure. Normally, the home loan and home buying process is complicated, confusing, and overwhelming- especially when buying a home from across the country. However, everyone on the VU team was proactive in reaching out and helping me through the process step by step. They even helped me set up home insurance and services, and my lender came to my home inspection so we could meet in person. I would recommend, There is only 1 issue. it is my understanding the HELOC could have been kept open by filling a form. we where unaware that the HELOC would close, we didnt want it to close. We will work this out with that company. However all things considered, the speed and everything , Nicole was great and I would highly recomend.
Our decision to work with Veterans United was simply the best due to our personal loan specialist Jimmy Stranz with the help of Josh Carlyon and Ashley Black, or as we call them "The Dream Team"!! From the very beginning we had constant contact with everyone through emails and phone calls and never felt that we were bothering them, which was very comforting when you are moving half way across the country and are already feeling isolated.
They made us feel confident and took some of the worry and stress away by guiding us through every turn!! Our only regret is that they live far away from us and we would love to pay them a visit with a huge hug and thank you for setting us on a path to our rest of forever!!!
