I want to say thank you for everything Veterans United Home Loans did for me and my family. It was a very stressful time for me, as buying a house is a big decision, and they took care of me the entire process.
Veteran’s United has helped me to achieve what I felt was impossible for me and I can’t thank them enough.
Veteran United made it easy to purchase a home. Very helpful and made myself and my family feel like we were their only customer.
Both crews at Veterans United and Nebraska Title were amazing!!
Very Simple and Easy Process with an amazing dedicated team.
Best experience ever.
Veterans United! I cannot thank you guys anymore for making this a great home buying experience!
Everyone worked together with cohesion, precision and professionalism, just like I do with my soldiers!
10/10 would use this team again.
Veterans united is amazing. They helped with getting me to my approval and kept me informed. I had no worries once I got started. I recommend Veterans united to all of my fellow veterans
Overall the process was great. There were two things that I didn't leave a 10 for.1. There was 5-6 days that it took to get in contact when we were trying to get moving on the house.
2. Not knowing the final amount we needed until 6pm on Thursday when closing was at 10am on Friday was a big issue. I understand that we were able to make it work due to some other circumstances, but going through the remaining 3 weeks thinking it was going to be approximately 3.4k and then it changing to 6.5k the day before does not seem acceptable to me. If we had not had the available funs for that additional amount, we would have had less than 24 hours to work with a bank to take out a loan, or try and find a family friend/ or sell something in a small window to make up the difference.3. I also would have appreciated some amount of pushback as to whether or not we needed Flood Insurance since the previous owners were not carrying it. It felt like we were giving a lot of pushback but there was a lot of hoops and proof we needed to show to make that go away, but then it kind of just went away? I'm not sure if this was underwriting just changing their minds on second review or what happened there but I feel like that should have been looked into on initial look whether that was needed or not. These two issues reduced it from a 10 to a 9, but the rest was good. I appreciated giving us the leniency and trust as well as communicating with some resources for questions we had.
I appreciate the help that VU was able to provide me. From being able to have a one stop shop of insurance, my loan and even to check my credit, Veteran’s United has everything you’ll need to buy a house. They even give you the ability to sign up for all of your utilities once you add your property. Thank you all for the help and easy purchase.
We had some miscommunication with Carol about requirements for the documents that was annoying.
I was supposed to close on the fourth, something got mixed up and threw the date back a week. Thank goodness for my realtor for being able to walk me through the situation. It was a strenuous month and change but it worked out. I just would like it if time management was on their side with my paperwork but it wasn’t . However I closed and I am happy overall. Thank you to everyone that helped.

Overall the process towards purchasing a home was less difficult with the staff helping me through it all.
If you’re looking to purchase a home and want to do it with help from every corner then definitely have Veterans United do your home loan.
This was a mess. I understand that my circumstances are not normal when it comes to the home buying process. However, I'm more than confident that Veterans United has helped people purchase homes while they are abroad. We were overwhelmed with the amount of emails being sent by multiple people on the Veterans United team. At no point did we feel supported by the team. We are first time home buyers. At the beginning of the home buying process we submitted our power of attorney. It wasn't until we were about to close that we were notified that the power of attorney was not acceptable. I had expressed several times that this would not have a fast turnaround. As I am in a foreign country that is not set up for convenience. I was meet with zero understanding and lack of care. I could have avoided this entirely if I had been notified as soon as I submitted the power of attorney. This just added to my frustration with this entire process. From the beginning I felt as if I was being discouraged from purchasing a home. I will never use this service again.
