Veterans United was always great to contact! Mikala Simons was the first representative that I had dealt with, and from that moment on, I knew that I was making the right decision! She was quick to make things feel like a "family-type" experience by showing a lot of care and concern while listening to my needs and concerns. Craig Patenaude was the next person, with Veterans United, who we had the chance to work with and from moment one showed us that he was all about making sure my family was taken care of. Craig never left us feeling like we were not cared for. We received several calls/messages from Craig that were clearly during his personal time (he had a two hour ahead time difference between us) but would never let that be an issue. He was always shooting straight on why we should or should not be looking into properties and laying out the reasons to back these decisions (I never felt left out). Angelica Thames was also a part of Craig's team and she stepped in, for a big portion of our experience, when Craig was not personally available. Angelica never once made anything seem contradicting and was always quick to respond/resolve any clerical issues (during a brain storm to get around a simple issue with the system, we even came up with a solution to properly deal with those pesky Murder Hornets).
